There's no greater satisfaction, than seeing the end result from a finished product.
Right now I'm not talking about something relating the title from this entry, but the result of many years of work and wait. Almost 10, to be exact. And I'm bringing this thought, on behalf of holding in my hands the printing version of TIMELESS CONSEQUENCES, both, in english and spanish versions. It was a big personal satisfaction to me.
Having said that, is now the turn for the second act of my novel and that starts with the writing of its Scenes Guide.
As I mentioned in earlier entries, I started thing by the wrong side of the pen. Magically thinking that words would begin to flow, filling each and everyone of the pages of my novel.
How naive.
It was then when I made a decision of facing this challenge in a very different way. First I would write a guide, where would have a number, a title and a shot description for the content of each scene. Once finished, it would be the time to start writing the first page.
That's how I made the first chapter and, at least in my case, it worked great.
Once all the struggles, obstacles and limitations, on behalf of yours truly, were finally solved, in redaction, SafeCreative and Amazon registration, multiple corrections and subsequent uploads and revisions. I can call this first stage as finished.
So I begun to work on the second scenes guide, even though it had previous entries, due to the inexorable ravages of time and ideas becoming kind of obsolete, many upgrades had to be applied.
The first guide is conformed by 42 scenes. Which now are contained inside the first novel.
In this second guide, as in any second act play, things get complicated either in quantity, content and complexity, so the amount of scenes scaled to 54, although I can't promise to keep that number carved on solid stone, I'm satisfied by the number and content of them.
Before I begin to write, I'll take a time to research ways, places situations and historical facts, that would allow me to back, in the best possible way, the story thread.
And that will be the next weeks and months of my life. Satisfied by the job done and excited by the work ahead.
P.S. For those of you that believe that writing stories is easy ...... I couldn't finish this sentence with a sarcastic or mocking to satisfy my battered literary ego. Oh well, keep thinking the way you think until I can come up with something else.

The Work Is Now Complete ... So Far
This one is going to be a short blog entry, because it only involves the painstaking job of correcting mistakes, typos and badly written english (sorry about that) on my recent novel TIMELESS CONSEQUENCES.
After 6 days of work, I can only say, it was worth it.
It's already active in Kindle and it'll be free for the next 5 days. It would be longer but Amazon only allows me a 5 day free promotion campaign. The paperback will take a little longer, since it's in the revision process, but in a couple of days it'll be available.
For those brave enough to take the chance, I'll leave you the links below.
Best regards and I sincerely wish that you enjoy my humble work.

Mistakes, Mistakes, Mistakes ...
I want to be blunt as I can with the following: "Everybody makes mistakes", however very few have the courage to accept them and assume the consequences from them. Accepting them, puts us in a position of weakness, disadvantage and makes us vulnerable to attacks from our enemies.
Throughout my working life, I suffered many professional setbacks, simply because I accepted my own mistakes. I admit that many battles have been lost because of that, but I'll never accept lowering my believes and principles for the temporary safety I can acquire by hiding my limitations or putting the blame on others.
Having said that, I want to admit the following: I'm not a good writer.
I accept the previous statement, as I realize the many mistakes I made, both in my spanish novel and it's translation to english. So many, that I forced myself to "unpublish" the english version, and gave the task to fix each and every one of the mistakes that my limited intellect is able to find.
Each time I face some new project, I always try to finish it in the best professional way possible, but I also understand that in life, good intentions are useless. With good intentions you can't have optimal results, or even good ones. With good intentions you only get mediocre results and those kind of results aren't acceptable to any reader.
That why I want to make a public apology, both to anyone affected by a less than professional material, as well as the writers community for not living up the standards and expectations.
I made a commitment to do a better job from now on, making an the effort to write stories with the goal to entertain from the first to the last page.

It's Finally Over ...
Finally I finished the english translation of the novel and I want to use this lines to express the emotional journey it was.
As I mentioned before in previous posts, the idea of writing a novel came out of the blue and as far now as the year 2006. After a few jams and learning voids, I left it incomplete in 2007. The experience was bittersweet. First of all, the excitement of facing a new project was strong enough to motivate me and with renewed energy, I struggled with the first challenges. After the excitement starts to dwindled, I begun to realize the hole I dig myself into, and finally, after several internal fights and struggles, managed to reach the goal line in the best shape possible.
Writing is a complicated task, since words can't be just to transmit information, but rather emotions. I convinced myself of an ultimate belief: If into the writing process, I couldn't feel the fears, the frustrations, joys and anxieties of my characters, then I wasn't doing a good job. As I was writing the novel in 2006, I forced myself first, then I let myself go, into the paths that my characters walked through and that only existed inside my head, and that now sleep inside the digital world, as well as the tradicional literary world made out of paper, just waiting for one wanderer reader to have to curiosity and time to read about them.
I must to admit that I suffered, laughed and felt anguish as I was writing their adventures.
When I finally could make real, the dream of every writer, which is to publish a work, I thought my job was over. I wasn't until I gave myself the task to translate it into english, that those characters would make me a surprise gift. Translating a text into another language, will always be complicated. Doing it, while you try to transmit emotions to another language, is a challenge on it's own.
I slowly opened the pages of that world and I begun to read those first few lines that starts from chapter one. At the beginning it didn't look like a complex or difficult task, so I calculated to spend just a few days to finish it. Or so I thought. However, and as I was getting back into my made up story, paragraph after paragraph, line after line, all written back in 2006, when I was alone in my room of my previous house, my stored emotions came back to me, as strong as they were almost 10 years ago.
As I wrote this lines, 12 hours have passed since I finish writing the last words in english, and I must to confess that the task was even more emotional and strenuous that I first imagined.
I can't be the judge for my story or my characters, and declare them good, regular or destined to a literary limbo. But the one thing I'm certain of it,is that I will take them with me, because they made me travel throughout an inner ocean of emotions, joys and feelings, and thanks to them, I could transform them into ink and paper and bytes.

Timeless Consequences (Excerpt)
The story follows the lives of three persons, in the city of Boston, MA, where their lives will be immerse into a complex scenario of situations, events and decisions that will put to a test their moral and ethic principles, as well as their afective and interpersonal bonds.
Everybody makes mistakes and our characters aren't the exception. Pride, vanity, love and ambition, are some of the ingredients that build our decisions, and those are the ones that takes us to uncharted destinations. Some of them, could be destinations that we haven't planned for our own.
An event, happened on March 13, 1895, would serve as a warning from the dangers of experimenting with those strict universal rules of time and space, which are the driving force of the delicate cosmic harmony.
Jack will discover that time is not an ally, not an enemy, just an invisible jail, that goes beyond the horizon, and one we can never escape.

When The Idea Can Be Touched ...
December 25th is the most anticipated day on every child's life, where we pretended being well behaved all year long and cherish the moment we have in our hand the wished gift.
Well, after many years of extreme, almost like a saint, behavior on my part and not finding under my tree, the elusive gift, this 2015 I got, unexpectedly I my add, the best gift I could ever asked for, CONSECUENCIAS ETERNAS, my spanish written novel, turned into paper.
I don't want to be misinterpreted by by reader, my digitally published novel, also was a longed dream as far as 2006, and that caused me great joy. However, human beings have the need to touch, to fulfill the owning cicle.
The dream of every creator is the ability to touch ones creation. See it turned into a reality. Like a parent that touches the newborn. That's how I felt in Christmas 2015. I had the capability of touching my literary newborn and it was an emotional sensation. And of course, as every proud parent, I spent my time bragging the new "member" of my family, which I do now.
I hope that you can shared this information, since maybe you know someone that's willing to adopt it.
